You don’t have to have a degree to have an education.

Formal Education

  • Academy of Homeopathy Education

Melanie graduated from the AHE Professional Program in Homeopathy in 2024. This rigorous program prepared her for clinical practice in the field of homeopathy. She completed 500 hours of didactic study, over 500 clinical hours, and well over double the required clinical supervision.

  • Regent University

Melanie graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a focus on strategic communications.

  • The Defense Information School

Melanie completed training in Mass Communications, Public Affairs, and Photojournalism, and was named the Honor Graduate in Broadcast Journalism.

Additional Courses

  • Bach Flower Therapy for Homeopaths

Melanie completed 20+ hours of training and successfully passed an examination in practitioner-level Bach Flower Therapy.

Book List

While Melanie has completed extensive formal education, she firmly believes that a degree is not the sole path to gaining knowledge. Education can be equally, if not more, enriched through quality literature, without the financial burden of formal institutions. Much of her learning has been shaped by a range of impactful (and occasionally less impactful) books. Below is a selection of those she found particularly insightful, though it is by no means exhaustive. While she may not fully agree with or endorse every idea in these works, each has offered valuable perspectives. These insights have contributed to both tangible and intangible aspects of her life, including alternative lifestyle practices, a broadened worldview, a deeper understanding of others, and knowledge of alternative healthcare approaches. This list does not include books on homeopathy, as the number of valuable texts in that field is too vast for this space.
